Four Paws & Peaks was founded by Utah natives, Melany and Nate Knudsen. Lifelong outdoor enthusiasts who believe the best adventures are shared with a dog by your side.
Our Roots

Born and raised in Utah, we've spent decades exploring the trails, alpine lakes, mountain vistas, and hidden corners that make this place extraordinary. Melany brings more than 10 years of professional dog-care experience, while Nate contributes extensive local knowledge of the Wasatch Back and surrounding mountains.
We created Four Paws & Peaks for travelers who want more than a standard hiking tour. Our private experiences are thoughtfully curated for guests who value their time, appreciate local expertise, and want to explore Utah alongside their dogs.
