Cancellation Policy
We understand that travel plans can change. Cancellations made 7 or more days before your scheduled experience will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 3 days of the hike are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations after 72 hours of a scheduled experience are non-refundable.
Guests may reschedule once at no charge with at least 72 hours' notice, subject to availability. In the event of unsafe weather or trail conditions, we will offer either a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule.
Our goal is to provide a safe, exceptional experience for both guests and their dogs while respecting the time reserved exclusively for your private adventure.
Liability Waiver
By booking and participating in any experience offered by 4 Paws & Peaks ("the Company"), you ("Guest") acknowledge that hiking, trail running, and outdoor mountain activities in Utah involve inherent and significant risks, including but not limited to: uneven terrain, falls, slips, rockfall, exposure to weather, altitude, wildlife encounters, interactions with dogs, illness, injury, or death.
Assumption of Risk. Guest voluntarily accepts and assumes all risks of participation, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, for themselves, their guests, their minor children, and any dog under their care.
Release and Waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guest hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue 4 Paws & Peaks, its owners, guides, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and assigns (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, illness, emotional distress, property damage, or death sustained by Guest, any accompanying person, or any dog while participating in any Company experience — including claims alleging negligence by the Released Parties.
Indemnification. Guest agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage, or cost (including reasonable attorneys' fees) they may incur arising out of Guest's participation, conduct, or the actions of any dog under Guest's care.
Dog Owner Responsibility. Guest represents that any dog they bring is healthy, current on vaccinations (including rabies), free of communicable illness, reasonably socialized, and under their control at all times. Guest is solely responsible for any injury, damage, or harm caused by their dog to people, other animals, or property.
Medical Authorization. Guest authorizes the Company to seek and obtain emergency medical or veterinary care on their behalf if needed, at Guest's sole expense.
Severability. If any portion of this waiver is held unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect. This waiver is governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
By booking an experience, Guest acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to this Liability Waiver. A countersigned waiver may be required at the trailhead prior to participation.
